Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, meet our driver in the hotel parking to embark the vehicle for the drive up to Queen Elizabeth national park. It includes a stopover at the equator and Mbarara town to have lunch. After Lunch continue with the amazing journey up to Queen. Check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge(luxury)/Enganzi Lodge/Bush lodge(mid-range)/Simba safari Camp/Tembo Safari Lodge(Budget)
Day 2: Game drive in Kasenyi plains, afternoon boat cruise
Early in the morning, you will have a scenic drive through the Kasenyi plains to spot the many species of wild animals like the big cats including the leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes, bush bucks, Hyenas, and more. After the game drive, you transfer to Mweya for lunch at the canteen. Later in the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to see various aquatic species like the crocodiles, hippos, as well as water bird species. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura
After the game drive, it’s now time to stroll and then breathe fresh air with in the jungles while on chimpanzee trekking in kyambura gorge. You are briefed about tracking and the after the journey to search for the chimps starts in a group led by ranger guides. After locating them, you are allowed to stay in their presence for one hour to learn their behaviors and way of life. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala
Have another game drive and then start your journey back to Kampala. You will stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Continue with the journey to the airport for return flight back home.
