Day 1: Arrival
On arrival we will met and greet and be driven to the Hotel for dinner and overnight in Kampala.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park.
Have our breakfast and drive to the Murchison Falls National Park with enroute stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for white rhino tracking, this will complete our list of the big five. After lunch at the sanctuary, we will proceed to the lodge in the park for dinner & Overnight.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning is the best time to see the big cats. We will set out to Paraa side where we will be able to see elephants, buffalo, giraffe, antelope and hopefully lion then return to the lodge for lunch. Immediately after lunch we will take an exciting 3 hours boat trip along the Nile upstream the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls while game viewing and birding enroute, we will see hippos, crocodiles, elephants and interesting bird life like the colored kingfishers and bee-eaters you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: Sunrise Boat cruise to the Delta
We will awake early for breakfast and head out for a morning cruise on the Nile to the delta on Lake Albert, the cruise we will exposes us to numerous game and birdlife at the delta. This will take us about 4-6hours giving us enough time for observation, we will return to the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon, we will drive to the top of the falls to see how water forces its way through a small gorge to form the mighty Murchison Falls. We return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Days 5: Kibale Forest National Park
An early awake with breakfast and drive out of the park with our packed lunch, the journey will involve lots of sightseeing at butiaba escarpments and local homesteads and farms. We will reach the park in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Kibale Forest National Park
An early awake with breakfast and head for a morning game drive to see numerous elephants as well as water hog, lion, hyena, Uganda kob, waterbuck and bushbuck. After our thorough game viewing, we will drive to Kibale National Park reaching in time for lunch. Afternoon, we will go for Chimpanzee tracking this time in Kibale National Park considered the best place for chimp tracking. The forest is home to over 13 species of primates including red colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest, blue monkey, grey mangabey, pottos, black faced vervet monkeys, baboons and also bush babies. We will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Days 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After relaxed breakfast visit the local community including the caves at Amabere ga Nyinamwiru an awesome historical site with beautiful waterfalls or visit local markets in Fort portal town. Our lunch will be served in Fort portal and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park with en route game viewing as we head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National park
Our day starts with an early breakfast and set out for our early morning game drive to experience the adventure of Uganda’s wilderness as we search for big cats lions and leopards at this time as they retire from hunting, we will be likely to see Hyenas, elephants, Giant Forest Hog, Warthogs, Buffalo and Kobs. Return to the lodge at leisure.
After lunch we will head for an afternoon launch trip on the amazing Kazinga Channel which connects the two beautiful lakes George and Lake Edward. The launch takes you up close to a variety of animals and birds, including hippos, crocodiles, bush bucks, and birds like fish Eagle, Goliath Heron, African jacana, Egyptian Geese, and the rare Shoebill. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
We will have an early breakfast and do an enroute game drive as we leave the park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest depending the group that you will track. We will have diner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 10: Gorilla Tracking
Today we will have an early breakfast and guides briefing, we will set off for Gorilla tracking exercise in the forests of Bwindi. The highlight of the trip is when you are face to face with the beautiful creatures – the mountain gorillas; you will be thrilled to watch them feed and pay. Seeing a silverback “father” is heart melting. We will have a maximum of one hour of observation and return to the lodge with wonderful memories and experience. If time allows we will do a guided community walk visiting the schools, hospitals, crafts shops this will give be a great opportunity to meet with local people who are very friendly. We will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Kampala
Today we return to Kampala with enroute stopover at Igongo Cultural center & museum for lunch and to learn of the cultural aspect of the Ankole people, another stopover the Equator for experiments and photography, arriving Kampala in the evening for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Kampala
Today we will spend the full day in Kampala, for a city tour and shopping at the village market. In the due time, we will transfer you to the Airport for to catch the flight back home.
